Why A One Day Diet Wont Help You Lose Weight

People today are desperate to lose weight. Everyone wants to get that perfect, slim body so they can feel good and look good. There are all kinds of products out on the market now that claim they will get you to lose weight and burn fat easily without much effort. Some of these methods work while other are completely useless by most people's tests. Finding the stuff that actually works can be a pain, especially when trying out all these "systems" costs you good money.

One of the most recent diet fads is this idea of a one day diet, where you only do certain things and eat a certain way for a single day, and that will somehow trigger weight loss in your body and cause you to lose some pounds. This sounds like the perfect, simple solution to dieting, and it would be, if it even worked. Trust me, there is no way you can get sustainable, long lasting weight loss if you only diet for a day.

Your body doesn't work like that. It is a long-term kind of machine. Daily activities do make a difference, but to see sustained changes you need to take certain actions every day, not just once in a while. Exercising, eating right, and other healthy activites should be practiced on a daily basis rather than for a single day, as if that would actual have any noticeable effect. It certainly would be nice if things were that easy though.

The main issue with these one day diets, is that even though they may have some sort of measureable, temporary effect on your body, over the course of a week or so, you are going to revert right back to where you started, with no real changes at all. It's just the way the body functions. Some of those one day diets might actually work if you consistently applied them for a couple months, but one day is definitely not enough.

Dieting and burning fat are processes that take time to kick in and work. You won't see results after only a days worth of dieting. Pick a diet that works for you and stick with it if you want to see results. That is the only real, reliable way to lose weight without quickly gaining it back.
